Only if you have patience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Closet space
Large windows
Decent sized bedrooms (some can run quite large, others on the smaller side)
Pest control has scheduled monthly visits to the building
Cons:
A couple of roaches seen (expected on first floor)
Mice-There are definitely mice in the building. Over three years we’ve seen 3 in our apartment. Maintenance is responsive about bringing someone in to patch the holes..you just have to find them.

Sweltering heat and rats
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location (close to the train, grocery, laundry etc), virtual doorman
Cons:
So many rats, heat is sweltering hot (had to sleep with windows open all winter bc it was unbearable and ended up sick a lot as a result), loud- ppl are in and out of the main doors which slam loudly all night long, rent renewal at over 75% increase, somehow “lost”
My security deposit ( a certified check).
Advice to owner:
No one is going to pay $2800/month for a studio apartment in a non luxury/no amenity building. Install sound barriers or blockers on the front doors.

A great apartment for a new New Yorker
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is pretty clean, generally kept up well, neighbors are friendly and respectful, video doorman no pests, and no issues with mail/packages.
Cons:
No laundry in building (I believe some units have in unit but mine does not), the garbage out front of the building is a bit of an eyesore, management and maintenance can be a little hard to get to at times.
