Overall great experience!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building management and the super were very quick to respond and were always helpful! The units were clean and as-advertised.
Cons:
The only negative I have is that I could hear the neighbors above me (not a huge deal). We had a great experience living here! Update: after 2 years of living here the building changed to a new management company which is very unprofessional. They raised rent by nearly 50% and said they were open to negotiate but would not even come down $100. Further, the landlords required me to vacate the unit for 5 hours weekly for almost a month to show the unit, which they could not find a tenant for due to the high price. The building used to be great and appreciated friendly tenants but I would not want to live under the new management.

Good first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean Building with Virtual Doorman. My unit had updated appliances w/ dishwasher which was really nice.
Cons:
It is a walk up and some of the rooms face the back so not a lot of sunlight throughout the day

Solid Building Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. On site superintendent. Not that bad a building for a very old walk up building. Management agent is responsive, and reasonable on rent hikes.
Cons:
A better job could be done turning the apartment over between tenants. Wall painting is very effortless and floors are in very rough shape. There was a point in time where some apartments were being used as Airbnbs but that appeared to have stopped.
Advice to owner:
All things considered, for a old walk up building things are pretty well managed. Doing a better job turning the apartments over between tenants is my main suggestion.

Mice everywhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartments amd renovates kitchens
Cons:
I’ve lived in Manhattan for 10+ years and have never seen so many mice and cockroaches inside a building. So disgusting. The super does not keep the hallways clean. Management is very unresponsive, they ignore emails and phone calls go to a call center.
Advice to owner:
Get real pest control
