Overpriced shoe box
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location was good, renovated apartment, helpful super.
Cons:
Cops/fire trucks/ambulances always getting stuck on block due to double parkers, Tap water was never cold, layout was awkward, place was small, walls are too thin, shower is super small, OVERPRICED.
Advice to owner:
Stop charging people 4 grand to live in a shithole

Horrible Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super was nice and around most of the time
Cons:
Consistent mice, water bugs, and no heat. We had to call 411 for the building to finally respond to emails and install some radiators. The unit was inhabitable for the price and they took some of our deposit just because there was a small stain in fridge we didn’t have time to wash off. It was a stupid reason to keep some of the deposit money.
Advice to owner:
Fix main issues to make it livable and listen to tenants.

The most awful place I’ve ever lived in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Floor looked new, 2nd floor walk up, good neighborhood
Cons:
All floors throughout building + hallways are thin. Tenants can hear everything. A lot of rats, cockroaches, and insects came in through hidden holes. We were always very clean people, never leaved food out, cleaned up, put things away. There wasn’t a heater when we first moved in. We kept arguing with management to install one because we were all FREEZING. UNACCEPTABLE. Some of our jewelry was stolen when we lived in the building. We don’t know by who—either management or handymen. Don’t trust anyone. Management doesn’t care about you or anyone. They don’t care about your well being. Normal average New Yorkers that need simple things like heat and help with removing rats and cockroaches. They don’t care.
Advice to owner:
Quit your job.

2nd flor walk up with rats, cockroaches, bugs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, “renovated” apartment building in a nice neighborhood
Cons:
Floors super thin that creak. Neighbor who lived below us would complain all the time. We would walk normal. Even tip toeing wouldn’t do anything. We had rats everywhere and we were clean. They kept gnawing the same holes that were filled to keep them out. Weird green long bugs came from the holes and kitchen sink. Cockroaches came out of no where. It’s a shame. It was a nice building, small rooms but whoever did the construction and renovation did a poor job. There was also no real heater. Management did not care at all. Extremely rude people. Not human. Deprived us of our equal rights.
Advice to owner:
Be fair.
