Better Places in UES
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good water pressure. Some units have all been appliances. Great location. All new pipes since the broke and required 4 months of construction.
Cons:
Cockroaches and mice. Loud neighbors and thin walls. Unresponsive/scummy landlords. Unresponsive maintenance team. Heat is too hot and radiator is super loud. Landlord barely lowered rent while pipes were out and raised rent the following year. Their office is in Brooklyn, so you’ll never see them.
Advice to owner:
Be responsive and respectful. Exterminate the entire building. Fix the heat. Don’t be a scumbag about rent negotiation when you didn’t offer the basic amenities to your tenants.
