I loved it!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Incredible location, gorgeous lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Always felt safe. Hallways were renovated while I lived there. Never had an issue with bugs or pests. Beautiful views. The walls in the apartment are pretty much soundproof.
Cons:
Living in an apartment on the F line (studios), the smoke detector was very close to the oven/stove (which I was told is how all the F apartments are set up) so it often went off if I was cooking. Sometimes had issues working the intercom to be able to buzz down to the doorman.

Love The Fairmont
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building maintenance are prompt, the doormen are lovely and so sweet, and I always felt safe as a woman even coming home at 3 AM. A wonderful wonderful place to call home.
Cons:
Sometimes the occasional waterbug - ie a cockroach - would show up and there was some denial about this. Took matters into my own hands and set up traps myself.
Advice to owner:
Thank you!

Great UES Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rooms are spacious and high quality. The building itself if kept up nicely. There is a wash and fold laundry in building you can drop your laundry off at for a fee. The roof has great views and is nicely landscaped.
Cons:
Occasional bugs but not too bad.
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work.

Still very nice
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff is wonderful. Just about each and every worker greets tenants by name and are always available to help with any small or large task. Repairs and maintenance are done promptly
Cons:
Nothing. I have lived here a long time and all has thankfully been a good experience.
Advice to owner:
Please do something with the intercom system. It needs updating. Otherwise keep doing everything the same. It’s working.

Perfectly fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is reasonably well maintained and I’ve had no major issues in 3 years. Location is great.
Cons:
The building is pretty dated, and it is missing amenities you could find in newer buildings for not much more. Very low tech as well. The management office is not very responsive to issues.
Advice to owner:
Would invest in some upgrades to the building (like better system for buzzing residents than the 1970s phones in the apartments, or online portals for submitting maintenance requests).
