It’s fine.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is amazing. Best part of the building. He keeps the building clean and is extremely responsive.
Rent is extremely reasonable. Very small increases.
Building has an elevator.
Common area with the stairs is carpeted and clean.
Cons:
Management company is extremely unresponsive.
Walls are extremely thin. Can hear my neighbors screaming at each other 24/7.
If you face the street - prepare for noise. 74th street is extremely noisy bc of people getting on FDR drive. Lots of horns all day.
Building has mice and roaches. Super immediately fixed the mice issue for me. Roaches are occasional and usually dead. Big water bugs.
