It’s not the worst but it’s far from the best

Pros:
Rent stabilized. All studios in building. Elevator. Laundry in basement when it’s working or recently cleaned. Trash shoot on floors.
Cons:
Thin walls. Poor design and decor. Mail issues. No virtual doorbell. Rooftop isn’t accessible. Strict with dogs. Loud outside. Windows aren’t insulated. Heat is loud and inconsistent.
Advice to owner:
Upgrade and keep the laundry room clean. Replace carpets in the hallways. Upgrade buzzer

Solid Spot if Roach Controlled

Pros:
was a clean apartment, good kitchen, amazing personal balcony, seemingly good trash system, and elevator runs smoothly.
Cons:
ROACHES so so many roaches i'm talking horror movie levels. Came from the bathroom drains and would be all over the balcony at night if lights were off. I only lived here for a few months (took over sublease), but if I had stayed longer I would've demanded a regular exterminator. and compensation.
Advice to owner:
Get your roach problem under control.

Pros:
Pleasant building, super was responsive.
Cons:
Roy Alter, the owner of the entire property, absolutely disappeared after getting my lease signed. Arrived at the apartment where things were not painted or cleaned. (Illegal)
