Ok for NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
It feels like a safe building. Good super, even though he’s very busy and sometimes forgets to answer. Landlord is responsive and responsible
Cons:
Very unclean lobby, elevator, and basement. Someone stepped in and dragged in dog poo all over the floor several weeks ago and no one has cleaned it. Mice in building but not in apartment.
Advice to owner:
Regular cleaning of the lobby. Organise garbage management

Was good value for rent paid, pre-pandemic
Former Tenant
Pros:
Started using online payment service for rent in 2020. Very convenient. Apartment had good space. Rent never increased more than 1-3% per year. Management company is responsive.
Cons:
Hallways/common areas are loud. Super was not always very responsive to issues. Walls/ceilings/floors are thin, easy to hear neighbors walking, playing music, talking, etc. Washer/Dryers occasionally not working well.
