Ask for a receipt!!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
I moved here during Covid and got an insane deal. Our apartment is pretty and gets lots of light, and I like the area.
Cons:
Management is VERY disorganized and hostile. They said they "did not receive" our rent despite having no issues for over 2 years (we've paid ahead of time for the entirety of our contract). We were yelled at and gaslit by management, who refused to answer our questions about where our money went which turned into extorting us for a $50 late fee. Our water went out, our fridge light went out, and we've had numerous other issues management has refused to fix for us. This is not a professional operation and if you, like me, work hard for your money I suggest you look elsewhere. You can pay slightly more and get the peace of mind of renting from someone who isn't stealing from you and gaslighting you about it.
Advice to owner:
TAKE ELECTRONIC PAYMENT. Keep better records of payments. Treat tenants with kindness and respect.

Had a Great Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, clean, and if I had a problem things were quickly fixed.
Cons:
Small bedrooms, but no real cons.
Advice to owner:
I once got locked out and got no help even though the landlord could have helped. I thought that was rude but expected.

Imposible to sleep at night!
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is a health care facility right behind the building and they do their garbage pick ups around 1am! Do not move into this building please.
Cons:

The owner is not responsive at all! and when he does it is with a bad attitude. very rude like the rent is free
Advice to owner:
Please take care of the heating system, Please talk to people in a polite way, Please do not lie with pics on line when the toilets and the apartments in general need to be repaired and improved, Please do not act like you own the world. Thank you.

Quiet and safe, but overpriced
Former Tenant
Pros:
Many restaurants and places for shopping nearby
Lots of transit (M72 and SBS-M79)
Laundromat right across the street (so convenient!)
The handyperson for the building is super sweet and attentive.
I lived on the 3rd floor and never had problems with mice or roaches.
Cons:
A couple of times in January there was no heat/hot water
We can't use both the microwave and kettle or toaster at the same time; the fuse blows out if we use the AC and the microwave.
Building door needs to be replaced. It is often left unlocked because the handle is too old.
Advice to owner:
I would recommend to re-grout the bathroom and repair the building entrance door (that is supposed to lock).

Biggest. Regret. Ever.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, close to the train, neighborhood
Cons:
Pricey for what it is, mice, walk up (six floors and no elevator), broken appliances, small rooms, lightbulbs constantly go out and the ceilings are high so it's a pain, the garbage system kind of sucks, and it takes a long time to get your deposit back.
Advice to owner:
You're not a bad guy but please do better.

Avoid! Anything else is better!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, subway is close by
Cons:
Dirty, broken, building, mice, roaches, lying inappropriate landlord who will cheat you on everything, everything constantly breaks
Advice to owner:
Just sell the property, you clearly cannot manage it!
