Not Horrible, But Not Great Either
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location! The building is a short walk from the East River Esplanade and in close proximity to shopping, activities, and transportation.
Cons:
The Super. If you are looking to be gaslit by your super for every concern and request you have, this is the spot for you! The super puts the bare minimum of effort toward the cleanliness of the building, toward fixing a leak, or eradicating the presence of cockroaches. For this reason, my time at the building has been a long and arduous journey.
Advice to owner:
Please consider hiring someone who listens and cares for the space they manage. The residents are aware of the decline in quality of care.

great if you’re OK dealing with issues on your own
Former Tenant
Pros:
apartment layouts have great amount of living space and natural light. elevators and laundry machines almost always work
Cons:
- super isn’t the most responsive and does not live-in complex even though they say he does. if you’re diligent in following up with him (multiple messages plus a few to management company) or run into super in the complex, he will fix what is needed in the week. otherwise good luck - consistently get 5-6 roaches per month in apartment (not including large ones seen in basement where trash and laundry is, or lobby). when i moved in, none of the apartment walls were caulked so this was a huge part of the issue—but even with them caulked and placing mesh around kitchen and bathroom vents, the roaches still come - multiple tenants have had packages stolen given lack of security camera/ package table is in view of door so those on the street can easily stop in/ grab. if you move-in order a lot, best to order things to get a box at a nearby mailroom service - pest services come 1x a month on Friday nights which is inconvenient

Great location; roaches stay too
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location and access to the UES. Friendly exterminators
Cons:
Have had German cockroaches the past 8 months. Building responds only if asked to send exterminator if missed monthly extermination. No other recourse taken.
