Decent apartment

Pros:
Everything for the most part was great. Cute, functional, nice sized apartment. Good amount of closet space and good size kitchen.
Cons:
Hot air rises so our apartment was always extremely warm. We were on one of the upper floors so always had to have our windows open. Biggest issue we had was a massive mice issue. Once they came in we couldn’t get them out. Management was terrible at handling it but I’ve since learned they’ve gotten new and hopefully better management. Mostly loved the apartment though.
Advice to owner:
Handle problems when they arise.

Bad landlord and management

Pros:
Had good counterspace
Cons:
Unresponsive landlord and management company. Did notnreturn safety deposit even with months of pursuing. Did not respond to email, calls, voicemails to serious apartment issues such as leaks until threatened to get a plumber to do serious work. Multiple leaks throughout rental time. Heat is too hot in summer and not hot enough in winter. Garbage was moved to inside building at bottom of stairs, became very smelly.
