The area is safe and clean with a lot of restaurants and cafes. The unit is big and has good doorman and package service.

You can hear a lot of noise from the neighbors upstairs and the kids at recess (when you open the window)

Loved my time here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff and management are wonderful! Everyone in the building is super friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond to respond to issues and help. One of the best buildings I’ve lived in nyc and sad to leave.
Cons:
Price, massive building, lobby and hallways could be cleaner

Expensive but you will be taken care of
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff are very helpful and facilities are maintained well. Feels like living in a part of history as the building was the first of its kind back in the 60s, (ie “luxury building” with amenities including a grocery store, dry clean shop, facial place in the basement)
Cons:
Line for package room can be long during after work hours but staff on duty is very patient. Elevator wait times could be long during peak times but generally fine.

Management staff is friendly and helpful. Also, a nice super who seems like a good guy.
