Lazy, Careless Landlords

Pros:
It’s cheaper than other places.
Cons:
-No security cameras for tenants but tons for the management office and employee-only areas. I asked them to I install some in the areas where there is constant crime and they said no.
-They say they will fix things and then never come back to fix them. Then, when you make another appointment, they pretend like the first one didn’t happen and it needs to be assessed again. They’ll do this over and over to avoid fixing anything.
-The sidewalk in front is a minefield of dog poop. They have to hose it down everyday and then it still accumulates in a few hours.
-The maintenance people are union so they don’t care about doing anything right. They just want to get it done and then go hide somewhere.
-They don’t have strict moving rules so people do whatever they want during moving season. It’s like a madhouse every weekend in the summer with people taking over the stair wells and leaving all of their unmoved furniture in front of the door.
-Constant loud parties. There were even people partying on the roof and, because there’s no security, they got away with it.
Advice to owner:
Stop being greedy, lazy, and careless.

Pros:
walls pretty sound proof, maintenance responds quickly, pet friendly, laundry on block, good views if facing street
Cons:
if you face the street traffic can be loud, basic apts no dishwasher or laundry, grounds and stairwells dirty, neighbors leave trash and personal belongings outside the door.
Advice to owner:
hold neighbors accountable for their noise, trash and property outside the door and in common areas. Sweep and clean the bldg more often.
