Great Location and Units - Beware of Construction
Former Tenant
Pros:
We absolutely love our 1 Bedroom in this building. We were the first ones to move into the unit and building back in 2022 at the peak of Covid and we've loved the apartment ever since. The kitchen, bathroom and living room are spacious and new. Bedroom could be a little bigger and we could have used more closet space but overall a great home
Cons:
As much as we've loved living here for 3 years and had signed for another year, we are in a situation where we need to break the lease due to unannounced construction starting in the building 2 weeks ago. The construction plans were not disclosed during lease renewal process and management claims to have been unaware of this situation. construction is currently running from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and the noise level varies throughout the day. The biggest challenge is the dust and cleanliness of the unit during this.
Advice to owner:
Please be more communicative about construction plans to your tenants
