Beautiful building, difficult management
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s a beautiful building with a really incredible location. Washer/dryer in the basement and responsive supers who live in the building.
Cons:
Management was very difficult to deal with, tried to up our rent in the first bill and it took upwards of 5 emails/calls to have it resolved. They make moving out difficult and even if your lease ends on a Sunday you will be forced to vacate on the preceding Friday or owe an additional month’s rent. Their broker even tried to get us to move out two weeks early for the new tenants. There are roaches that management swears are water bugs
Advice to owner:
Something more sustainable needs to be done about the roaches - it would be great if there was more flexibility with the exterminator because we had to make arrangements to be home during the workday. It would also be great to pay electronically and give keys to the super upon move-out

If you want someone to steal your money, this is the spot for you
Former Tenant
Pros:
Incredible location, very cute building, kind supers
Cons:
Consistent pest problem (roaches) that management swears are water bugs. Management also tried to charge an extra $600 from us in our first month and it took > 5 calls and emails to get it resolved.
Advice to owner:
Recognize that there is a roach problem and handle it
