Pros:
The location is fantastic if you are privy to a life that resides mostly in Midtown and on the upper Eastside in Manhattan. The ceilings are incredibly high which give you the unique opportunity to loft your bed etc. very close to both the 6&Q train. Most of the units come with a dishwasher but unfortunately that is a repeated entrance for roaches
Cons:
Although I found the building management company to be fantastic the superintendent was incredibly difficult and rude. Definitely made it really uncomfortable for me when I had to cross paths with him. From day one to the day I left I had a consistent problem with roaches. I had my apartment professionally exterminated twice and literally 3 days later they’d be back crawling out from under my oven, behind my sink and would somehow wind up in my fridge and dishwasher. Our building also had repeat problems with mice. I suspect that the vermin / roaches were as a result of sharing a wall with a restaurant and bodega but it was still vile.
Advice to owner:
You need to get control of the roach situation it’s disgusting. Please also give the Superintendent an attitude adjustment or at least a lesson in patience and hospitality.
