Literally the worst place to live EVER
Former Tenant
Pros:
almost nothing to say here
Cons:
- it is infested with MICE - even if you get an exterminator (which the landlord did for me but was the cheapest one out there) there were mice continuously (and I am an extremely clean person - never put food out either, especially due to this reason)
- the heater BARELY works??? it will be the coldest day in winter and the heater will turn on maybe twice that day if you're lucky. landlord told me to get a space heater
- the landlord lives in long island so if you ever need something fixed quickly you just won't. it will take him at least till the weekend to come 'check on it'. nice guy but like not helpful at all
- there was an intruder living upstairs for weeks because the landlord didn't file a complaint with the police - like what?
- the super is a major creep - good luck if you're a girl. and all he does is take out the trash and does not help with your apartment so i'm not even sure he should be called the "super"??
- the list could go on and on
Advice to owner:
maybe fix the building properly so you dont have to keep getting called to it every weekend? and also maybe replace the super

Needs a LOT of help / updates
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighborhood - walkable to everything. Elevator
Cons:
Needs serious updates throughout - entryway falling apart, doors are drafty, peeling paint. No pest control. Intercom/buzzer system old and unreliable. No onsite super, and the person they claim helps with maintenance is hard to reach, mostly rude and doesn’t seem interested in actually completing jobs.
Advice to owner:
Put some effort and care into your building. Actually visit the property so you have a firsthand view of what your tenants see and experience everyday.

Worst experience-do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and cheap
Cons:
Mice, ants, lots of garbage, landlord who is very unhelpful and ultimately was cheap
Advice to owner:
Do better! Hire an exterminator every month and take care of your property. People shouldn’t have to live with rodent infestations and an unsanitary building
