Former Tenant
Pros:
Previous management was the only good thing until Salon Realty took over.
Cons:
Very poorly managed and awful service. Common laundry machines always broken. Common Rooftop access closed to tenants. Heating system very bad and noisy, had to survive on expensive electric heaters. Bathroom ceiling almost caved in with water leakage. Bed bug issues had to be treated at my own expense. Frequently stolen packages from unsecured drop spot downstairs. Over following garbage disposal attracting rats and roaches. Thin walls led to constant noise complaints, loud footsteps of tenant from above. In spite of already unlivable conditions, Joshua Salon tried to evict me so he could raise the rent upon completion of new Q train stop.
Advice to owner:
I'm surprised this building is still occupied. Property owner should be taken to court and arrested for sub-standard living conditions.
