personally i like it
Former Tenant
Pros:
really great location, pretty good price for what you’re getting all around, very responsive super.
Cons:
did run into a decent amount of cockroaches but that kind of comes with the territory. no security cameras in the mail room, packages often stolen
Advice to owner:

Former Tenant - Pros & Cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent on-site super. Wide staircases. Natural light. Packages were hardly ever stolen. Garbage area was outside so no smell in the building. Great location. Quiet.
Cons:
Saw cockroaches sometimes (though they treated for them constantly). Lived on a high floor (no elevator). Sometimes the shower water temperature could be finicky.
Advice to owner:
Keep Tom (the super) forever! He’s fantastic.

Old, unhealthy building...
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, clean despite things falling apart everywhere.
Cons:
Cheap repairs if they even happen. Bad plumbing, lead, mold and mildew inside walls, no security, too much heat, crazy leases.
Advice to owner:
Make repairs, get a better management company.

The best word for this building is “fine.”
Former Tenant
Pros:
The on site super was genuinely great.
Cons:
Packages are left on the floor in the lobby, leading to high rates of package theft. When tenants ask about installing a security camera, the landlord’s response was “This is the risk you take when you live in a building without a doorman.”
Advice to owner:
Listen to feedback from tenants and maybe they won’t all move out.
