Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors were nice in passing and quiet in the evening hours.
Cons:
At least two (that I know of) apartments in the building had bed bugs, super is unresponsive and rude, management is incredibly unresponsive and rude. We had a full blown radiator leak due to the heat being turned up too high in the winter months and water spewed out from two different radiators in our apartment, completely soaking our walls, furniture, television, couch, rugs, everything- it took three days for it to be taken seriously. We were initially ignored by the super, and two days later told to only contact him during weekday business hours, even though this was clearly an urgent issue. The management office failed to reply to multiple calls and emails when this occurred, along with a handful of other issues throughout our three years there. The walls remained water stained for an entire year until we finally moved out, we asked for them to be repainted after this incident and never heard back but were penalized for the peeling paint when we moved out. The area is nice but the street is loud as it’s across from Fairway and the delivery trucks are noisy at all hours.
Advice to owner:
Hire new help, and take pride in your building.
