Very peaceful apt building
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Thick walls - couldn't ever really hear neighbors on the same floor
- Whole foods right across the street
- Cute little park right next door
Cons:
- Trucks unloading at whole foods make a lot of noise in the morning
- Downstairs neighbors are sometimes a bit noisy

Overall not bad but gets really hot in the summer
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Management is mostly digital so I can pay rent online
- Management has responded to my maintenance requests in appropriate timing
- Getting keys was easy
Cons:
- Cockroach in summer
- Water pressure isn’t great
- My apt has an indoor draft and it leaks outside air, making the apartment unbearable in the summer
Advice to owner:
Water pressure could be better and please announce when you’re going to do water related changes. Suddenly not having water for a day was horrible

320 sq ft UES apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great.
Cons:
They have limited windows, small square footage, creaking floors; you can hear and feel the next-door neighbors' footsteps. Very outdated apartment.

Property management company, Paley Management, are rude and unprofessional during Covid situation. Also, they are greedy because all their rental properties are 20-40% higher than an average rental property, and they are outdated.
Advice to owner:
You should renovate the whole apartment and be realistic with the rental price. Don't act like you have the best apartment on the market because you don't. The apartment value is less than 200k per public records.
