Good, basic walk up
Former Tenant
Pros:
All the basics, overall well-managed. Never ran into major issues. The onsite super was very helpful for all sorts for things, sometimes a little hard to get a hold of but really nice and willing to fix all sorts of things around the apartment.
Cons:
Can very easily hear neighbors through the walls, even the sound did the TV.
The layout is odd with the A,B, and C buildings - there need to be clearer signs at the entrance. Also the apartment numbers don't match up to floors which is just confusing.
The management aren't reasonable when negotiating for re-signing. This was ultimately the reason I left, they weren't in touch with the market and there were way better options available all over.
Advice to owner:
Be more open to negotiating for rental renewals.

Good apartments, terrible building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are relatively nice but that’s about it
Cons:
Trash management is terrible, you will NEVER get the super to fix anything, don’t expect exterminators to come by or any security. Do expect to have your mail stolen & for management to not care. There are mice in the basement with the trash and laundry, but no exterminators ever come by. Double check for small broken things before moving in - I had several and some are still unfixed. If you want to reach management you have to call over and over to get a response. Do not live here.
Advice to owner:
Put in the minimal effort to make things livable and be responsive tenants.

Solid apartment, messy building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great space, close to great food, grocery and liquor stores
Cons:
Creaky hallways, garbage is gross, you can hear your upstairs neighbor, stolen packages
Advice to owner:
Clean the hallways and install a camera so people don’t get packages stolen

Unit is Good but Awful Super and Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
My specific unit is nice and renovated, on a quiet street, it’s nice that there’s laundry in the building, pricing is good, and very good location.
Cons:
The super NEVER responds — you have to call and text him days or even weeks on end to get a reply. I’ve even seen him working at While Foods during the day. The management is cheap and will not fix anything such as a broken closet door or kitchen sink faucet. I’ve had multiple packages stolen and there aren’t any cameras installed. I put up a note in the lobby asking fellow tenants to do the neighborly thing and bring packages into the locked section if they see them sitting outside in the open, so as to prevent theft, and when I got home at the end of the day my note was taken down. You can hear the neighbors walking and talking/watching tv through the walls, and the heat isn’t monitored during the winter so it’s burning hot even if the weather isn’t as cold one day over another. I’ve been here for 5 months and haven’t had a single pest control inspection/routine spray. The building itself is gross and musty smelling with awful lighting — overalls it just looks and feels dingy and dirty. Oh and if you get locked out of your apartment on accident good luck because the super doesn’t have any apartment keys and can’t do anything about it.
Advice to owner:
If you actually INVEST in and care about your properties and its residents, it’ll make you more appealing for potential renters!
