Pest Galore

Pros:
Conveniently located near many popular restaurants and stores on 86th Street. The Q train is few blocks away.
Cons:
I lived in this building for over 12 years. The building has never been updated in all the years I was there. I never saw anyone mopping the floors. The halls were painted once during the entire duration of my stay. My biggest beef is the pest problem. I always saw waterbugs, carpet beetles, and sometimes cockroaches in my apartment. I had the exterminators in and it never did anything to abate the pest problem. When I moved into a brand-new luxury building, the carpet beetles also came along to my dismay. Again, had the exterminators in to deal with the issue, and it’s still a problem six years later.
Advice to owner:
Update the hallways. Deal with the pest control problem. Have the cleaners come in on regular basis. Update the keypad entry (ideally should be video monitor for safety reason).
