Think twice
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is close to the Q train
Cons:
The is zero support from the landlord. The super is not allowed to help you. They paint over everything so everyone someone moves out they just paint over everything without any cleaning.
No COVID response or building cleaning. No hand sanitizer at entrances
No cameras to protect the building-cannot see who is asking to be bussed in.
Advice to owner:
Take care of this property. The hallways and stairwells are disgusting. This is the upper east side!! Why does everything on the inside of building feel like it was put in place in the 1970’s and broke in the 90’s and neglected ever since??
You cannot control heat inside your apartment- there is no thermostat.
There is no ventilation in the kitchens.
Plumbing is inconsistent- sometime you get hot water, sometimes you do t.
Install cameras for front door and hallways. Make that available for tenants
The owner(s) often makes promises- but doesn’t follow through. They cannot be trusted.
