Great Landlord, Messy Neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
The landlord, Joe, is great and very responsive to maintenance requests. My unit in particular was gut renovated and now features nice stainless steel appliances. Across the street from a school and not a busy street, so it’s quiet at night.
Cons:
We’ve had several cockroaches and a mouse. The landlord was helpful with the cockroaches (he came to spray the next day) but left us to deal with the mouse on our own. Neighbors do not pick up after their dogs, so the street is often very messy and smelly.

Mice infested buildings
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent but comes at a cost
Cons:
Mice infested the entire time we lived there, Landlord did absolutely nothing about it. Woman was a hoarder upstairs and bugs and mice came from her apartment and nothing was done about it. Woke up with rat poop on our bed every day. Absolutely infested.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property better and listen to tenant concerns. Clean up garbage outside and clean common areas.
