You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors are friendly, mainly younger people. Furnished rooftop and garden and basement storage. The street is very quiet. The units are well priced and have lots of amenities (WD, DW)
Cons:
Garbage piles up in front of the trash chute for several days before being removed. Difficult getting the super (and management) to actually take action when he’s alerted of a problem. There have been of issues with the appliances and water in the building. On more than one occasion water from the top floor has leaked to below units. Our unit had Wd and DW issues. The later took six months to resolve. Packages are constantly getting stolen and the storage unit is not secure - it can be accessed from the street. Each time this happens the cameras conveniently don’t work and management does not take steps to resolve. The rooftop is dirty usually trash from parties and neighbors are on the younger side so noise in the evenings can be a problem. Heat is not included and the con Ed bill is typically $250 (being diligent with the lights and rarely using the heat)
Advice to owner:
Need to come up with a different solution to prevent package theft, the current system isn’t working

Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really clean, super Harry is great. Overall really nice.
Cons:
The trash does build up sometimes, but it’s probably just because the chute gets full pretty quickly from all the residents.

Ideal if you are young
Former Tenant
Pros:
The lobby and common areas are very well maintained for a non-doorman building. The units are beautiful and tastefully updated. The rooftop deck and basement storage are major pros. Management is very responsive to any issues (can’t say the same for the super though)
Cons:
This building is full of young college age people, so it can be very noisy at times with doors slamming at all hours and shouting in the stairwell that reverberates throughout the building. The walls between units are very thin and you can hear your neighbors through adjoining walls. Packages are also regularly stolen here year round. The super is also difficult to communicate with at times and can take a long time to address issues
Advice to owner:
My only issues are with noisy, inconsiderate neighbors, otherwise, the building is great

Former Tenant
Pros:
Newly renovated, W/D in unit, dishwasher
Cons:
Pests in basement, garbage area does not fit a lot of trash, so it often overflows
