COVID19 Move In
Former Tenant
Pros:
High Ceilings, Secure Mail, Loft in apt for Storage. No need to have an entertainment unit or really any shelves - the cabinets are built it. Living on the 6th floor walkup was daunting at first, but it’s great exercise and the view is amazing. It’s close to so many places on UES and the access to the Q train is a block away. There are also citi bikes super close in 3 locations.

There is lovely exposed brick throughout the building. It’s prewar and has a ton of character. Each weekend there is a farmers market on the street when you walk out, which is a fantastic excuse to get apple cider donuts and local milk and flowers.

I love living here, but there are just some thing listed below I would like known to the next tenant.
Cons:
Lot of construction in area, kind of outdated, cabinets made for space but some broken in kitchen.

The street itself had a gas leak with Con Edison late Sept. The hot water also went out at the same time. We went 1.5 weeks with no hot water. We also still, a month later, have no gas. They hired the loudest most obnoxious working teams (to save money) and during the pandemic I have been unable to record or have meetings. Very poor management to difficult situations. The landlord is a sweet old man, but he is unable to handle issues so his kids help.
Advice to owner:
Please be more diligent in checking the cleanliness of the spaces outside the apartments and maintaining the space we pay for.
