Built in 1931 and looks it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location and space, porter service, handy man 7 days a week
Cons:
Lazy staff, does not properly screen visitors, neglected property for years, inadequate heat, upgrades long overdue, laundry room looks like a dungeon, aftermarket electrical supplier, not Con Ed, no advance notice on water line clean out, self service elevators keep breaking down, building neglected, lobby is filthy, rarely mopped. Terrazzo not cleaned in forty years.Staff has gotten away with murder. Not a place to stay. Overpriced. Lazy management. Left tenant 3 days without refrigeration. No one volunteered that spare units were in the basement. House painter, a sub contractor, is allowed to ride passenger elevator all day, not service cab reducing elevator service to tenants. Not a well oiled machine. Greedy Supt. Intercom not operative from Apts. Management stinks. Says no pet policy. More pets than children.vermin. Tenants use public corridors for book storage. Staff too lazy to deliver packages upon arrival or notify tenants of packages. Not a good place to reside. Building socks. Wanted a 12% increase for a two-year renewal.
Advice to owner:
Better update your act. The times have passed you buy.

Building amazing, management ok
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is amazing and the people who work there (doorman, porters, super) are all top notch.
Cons:
The mgmt company left more to be desired. You didn’t get the feeling they cared for you at all/ Unless they can get money out of you. Slow to respond or accomplish anything.
