Great for first-time renters
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great space for people living solo, surprising amount of storage. The exposed brick is a great feature and has tons of natural light during the day. The landlords respond quickly to any issues and resolve them almost immediately. The monthly exterminator service is a huge win, as well as the shared washer/dryer unit in the basement.
Cons:
This building is on the older side, so the walls are super thin, which means I hear EVERYTHING from my neighbors—most of whom are not very considerate. The front doors are constantly slamming open and shut, which can grate on your nerves after awhile, especially if you’re trying to work or relax.
Advice to owner:
Next renovation, look into noise insulation of some kind to create more privacy. And maybe softer door jams would help as well.
