Stay away, not worth it!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen/staff are wonderful!
Cons:
There are a lot of owners who bought into the building a long time ago who are clearly unable to afford to live in today’s NYC. The building is very tired and in need of MANY updates. They are clearly putting these repairs off to keep costs down. Hallways smell like garbage as the chutes are located in the hallway. There are mice - make sure you have a private exterminator on speed dial! Lastly, AC units are packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) so get ready for hot summers with VERY high electric bills.
Advice to owner:
Buildings need to be maintained. At some point putting off repairs will catch up with you!
