A good first apartment

Pros:
Never had an issue with rodents or bugs, area and neighbors were pleasant, overall good experience
Cons:
When reaching out to management regarding an issue with an appliance, they would often send the handyman with no response. The issue would get fixed, but would be inconvenient if no one was home to let him in.
Advice to owner:
Send response emails before sending someone out

Solid walk up on a wonderful UES block

Pros:
Quiet, tree-lined street. Clean, updated finishes. Spacious, relatively speaking. Allows dogs.
Cons:
Not a lot of sunlight, but that could be the fact that I was in a back unit facing the courtyard.
Advice to owner:
The fire alarm sometimes goes off randomly in the hallway for hours until a resident disarms it. I don't know if that ever got addressed.
