UES building near York
Former Tenant
Pros:
Updated renovations, and the location is amazing.
Cons:
The lay out of the apartment is strange, the hallways don’t get cleaned ever and I see rats all around our building
Advice to owner:
Clean inside the building more.

Landlord is greedy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is nice and close to the east river.
Cons:
Not very clean. Landlord increases rent 20-30% every year.
Advice to owner:
Stop overcharging your tenants and clean up the building from time to time.

Decent for the price. No complaints
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, generally good neighbors, quiet street, no pest issues, very nice super, owner lives next door and is cool. Just repainted and tuck pointed the front of building last summer. Reasonable new windows. Street noise not a factor.
Cons:
Pre war building so as you’d expect you can hear your upstairs neighbors every single move. Radiators are super hot, we have to vent our windows all winter.

Almost Perfect
Former Tenant
Pros:
The owner is very kind and knows of all his tenants. He was available via email or cell phone and was always responsive.
Cons:
Roach problem. Gaps on the baseboards, kitchen counter, and some pipes lead to a bad roach problem.
Advice to owner:
The building is close to perfect but unfortunately not pest free. Hire monthly exterminator.
