Fine for a first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, have not many pest issues, laundry in building, nice apartment size
Cons:
Landlord did not respond to a pest complaint (mouse) sent Thursday until Monday (still a whole business day that a response could be sent during). Took two more days to send an exterminator. Most issues have taken forever to get a response to. Super also took a two week vacation without telling anyone or forwarding their email or giving an alternate email to contact. The only issue that I got a quick response to was a mouse sighting in the basement (where the super’s apartment is). Heat is also unbearable in the winter. In the summer the super took a full week to respond to and come to install an AC, we were not allowed to install it ourselves and were getting sick from the heat.
Advice to owner:
It should not take multiple business days to get a response about issues concerning health and pests
