Don’t move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
- quiet, nice neighborhood, close to train lines
Cons:
- had to pay a broker’s fee despite a sign in the front saying it is a no-fee building - trash is always piled up in the front and rats are always running around in the front - old, walk-up building with lots of pests (no matter how much I cleaned, there were roaches) - the water doesn’t drain properly - heat is on high in the winter (it gets really hot in the apartment) - no laundry in the building (it’s not worth it, especially when all the laundry mats around are so expensive) - weird holes in the walls that took forever to be fixed - updated kitchens, BUT there is no counter space - weirdly shaped triangular bedrooms - uneven floors, small bathrooms - overpriced for what it is

Quiet and cute neighborhood but building only ok
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super close to Carl Schurz, modern appliances and doesn’t feel as old as the building is. Small but lots of storage and in good condition apartment. Rent is decent for area.
Cons:
Stinky and definitely rats in the ceiling (no other bugs though) and always a TON of rats outside the front door since garbage is poorly handled. Thin walls like most apartments and super tiny.
