Lived here a few years ago, dealt with so many problems
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood and the apartment itself were lovely
Cons:
Struggled with roaches - was having pest control come every week, nothing was working. Heat was an issue - my apartment was above the lobby and got extremely cold in the winter. Chain smoker who was grandfathered in lived across the hallway, smoke was constantly getting into my apartment and nothing could be done. Building was always relatively dirty.

Responsive management but not clean
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive management in terms of repairs within the apartment. Mostly quiet neighbors and good location
Cons:
Awful smell in the lobby for the entire year (think sewage + open trash), laundry machines not usable due to dirt being accumulated over time , minor rat issue in basement trash room due to poor maintenance (they eventually fixed it)
Advice to owner:
Fix the lobby and laundry room!

Fine apartments, slow responses
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is fine for what it is. Great location on a quiet street. Apartment size fits our needs
Cons:
Takes multiple emails to get a response on maintenance requests. Also if a project requires multiple visits you have to stay on top of them to make sure they come back to I miss the job
Advice to owner:
Devote more attention to Tennant’s requests

Solid, quiet building with respectable management.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet neighbors, no pests, elevator, trash indoors. Management was quick to respond to important problems. Vacuumed and clean floors often. No kids.
Cons:
Mediocre fit and finish (some uneven walls), slow/no mgmt responses about lower priority questions/problems. Staff rarely wear masks (during COVID).
Advice to owner:
Keep it up. Better email responses would help tho.
