Decent place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very short walk to the subway.
Large bedrooms.
Nice kitchen.
Reasonable rent.
Cons:
Garbage piled up outside.
Often no hot water with little response from owner to fix.
Super/management take some shortcuts.
Right next to metro north above ground--VERY loud. Don't move here if you're a light sleeper.
Advice to owner:
Listen to tenant issues

Depends who you rent from
Former Tenant
Pros:
For a starter apartment with roommates it wasn’t completely terrible. Neighbours tend to keep to themselves were cordial.
Cons:
Clearly gentrified building with older tenants and newly (poorly) renovated apartments aimed at young college students/grads. Got my place thru Rezi and the gut renovations were poorly done. Things were constantly breaking and would receive no response for repair. Hot water went off multiple times for days at a time. Right by the Metro North so be cognisant of noise pollution. Multiple people who did not live in the building would manage to get inside and wander the staircase. Had a mouse problem for a majority of the 1yr lease. Landlord found a huge hole behind stove and no one ever fixed.
Advice to owner:
Respond to tenant issues and CLEAN.
