So far so nice!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very quiet and nice neighbors. Nobody bothers anyone. Everything works great. Love that it’s an old building yet still well-maintained, and the super is around everyday somewhere in the vicinity of the building!
Cons:
Sometimes the elevator is a bit weird and opens in the middle of two floors, but it gets fixed by sending it to another floor and you’re good to go again so not really an issue.

Not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building has some nice apartments that are cozy and the general areas are kept relatively clean. Also it’s in a good neighborhood and close to a train.
Cons:
The management is non-existent so don’t ever need anything done. There were little bugs that came through the drain in the kitchen even though we regularly cleaned the sink and kept things very clean. The building also tried to make us pay for months we weren’t living in the building and doesn’t ha e a phone number where we can talk to a real person. The buzzer never worked because the building just didn’t pay for it. It was also so expensive for the crappy place it was. We ended up leaving early because we could not handle it.
Advice to owner:
Fix your buzzer system, get an exterminator in there to do a deep clean. Get a work phone and communicate with your tenants.

Where is Management?
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Super, when on site, is nice. Neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves for the most part.
Cons:
Management is terrible, the floor is crooked and slopes, getting anything fixed is easily a week-long (minimum) process, and rent payment is next to impossible and horribly managed. Also the door buzzer doesn’t work because management just stopped paying for it.
Advice to owner:
Get the building evaluated because it feels like it could collapse at any point.

Don’t do It to yourself.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Something I like about this building is that it’s kept clean and people keep to themselves.there’s no problems with tenants here.
Cons:
The rent is HIGHER THAN MY ROOF!! Can you believe this. Small apartments comfortable but the rent sheesh! The landlords and management are a mess and a rip off. They try to play games with you while you are renting to then not supply you with the assistance needed later on. PLUS THERES NO HEAT AT !!!
Advice to owner:
Have compasión. Fix what needs to be fixed stop being money hungry because god doesn’t like evil.
