Terrible management, okay apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator and private outdoor space
Cons:
Management was awful. Cockroaches all over. We once got a notice ConEd was going to shut off lobby utilities. That’s how poorly run this building was. New management didn’t pay the super and he had to quit. Took over a month and a half to get back the security deposit back to the point we had to threaten to notify the AG and take them to small claims court. The “property manager” would not sign emails with their name, likely on purpose so you couldn’t reach them or know who they were. Just a mess
Advice to owner:
Don’t be property managers.

Nice apartment with management issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large, clean apartments with in-unit washer dryers and dishwashers. Very well constructed - minimal noise from neighbors, lots of storage.
Cons:
Management company changed and fired the old super, new one is nice enough and responsive but the circumstances around the firing of the old super were sketchy and most likely illegal. The building has issues with garbage disposal and cleanliness of common areas now.

Good building for the area
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Bedrooms do not share walls with adjacent apartments
-luxury finishes like solid core doors
Cons:
-hot water frequently goes out
-doormen can be innatentive, don't actually hold or open doors
-outdated kitchens
-hard to deal with management company (HSC)
Advice to owner:
Get a different management company

Be more flexible on rent
