Property manager is kind but not overall effective.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, good space, overall good price getting in on a deal.
Cons:
The property manager is always running late. If you get approved for the apartment he will want to meet you and doesn’t care about your schedule or his. He is going to speak to you forever (like 2 hours). Dont expect your security deposit back. The property manager says that even if you do just about nothing to the apartment it will need a face lift if you leave after a year. It also is soooooo dirty. I never imagined moving into such a dirty apartment when i arrived. Obviously it wasn’t clean when i saw it but you’d think that it’d be clean when you move in. Property manager takes a year and a day to fix most problems. If you have pictures or a tv you want to mount… this isnt the place for you. Property manager doesn’t want things on the wall and politely without verbally threatening your security deposit, threatens your security deposit. The property manager is nice but is way too involved in what you do in a space that you’re paying the rent for. Every place has rules but this place actively has a never ending parade of stupid rules. Moving out is one of the smartest of decisions i’ve made.
Advice to owner:
Respectfully, get it together. The property manager CLEARLY has too much on his plate. VERY unprofessional showing up late to every meeting and being long winded, not caring about other people’s schedule and evidently HIS OWN. It’s sad because this could be such a nice place if run effectively.

A little rough around the edges
Former Tenant
Pros:
Hardwood floors, good natural light
Cons:
Needs a lot of updating and is quite grungy. Heat is shotty and the sound of the heating pipes are like nothing I’ve experienced before, so loud and they would go on all through the night. The landlord is not very responsive and doesn’t take good care of the building because he has lots of other buildings he takes care of.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and understanding of the needs of the residents
