Recent tenant reviews for 25 WEST 132 STREET highlight a clean building with spacious apartments and friendly doormen. Decent place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean building, good doorman, good laundry service although expensive. Apts are huge.
Cons:
Unresponsive management crew. The leasing office staff aren’t helpful. They also don’t attempt to remedy their mistakes which is a sign of bad mgmt.

Don’t expect a response
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building has lots of laundry in basement and the maintenance staff and doormen are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Cons:
If you want to hear back from the leasing office (Lenox Leasing which covers just the complex, not the larger Olnick company), good luck! They do not respond to emails, respond to voicemails, and barely pick up their phones. Information in leases is vague and you get different responses based on who you ask and the day.
Advice to owner:
Hire more reliable folks in the Lenox Leasing Office!!! And make sure they answer the phone because the voicemail box didn’t even work the last time I tried calling.

Not the best
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great doormen. Apartments are a decent size.
Cons:
SO much noise in the neighborhood. We were on a high floor and could hear sirens and super loud motorbikes all day and night.

Most of the time it was like pulling teeth to try to get building management to respond to maintenance issues.

Neighborhood is getting crazy. Gunshots, people shooting up, lots of trash everywhere etc (and this is coming from someone who grew up in NYC).
