Great building but absent Super
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself is lovely and is usually clean. The trash is kept in a locked area outside and was organized regularly. There is an empty lot next door which allowed for a lot of sunlight and quiet on two sides of the building.
Cons:
The Super was almost completely absent. We moved in with some essential repairs needed and by the time we moved out a year later, they still had not been fixed. It took them months to even install a smoke detector.
Advice to owner:
The Super is friendly and answers the phone, but doesn't actually do the thing he has agreed to. We lived with the same issues in the apartment from the day we moved in and got tired of asking.

Solid Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord and Management really cares about the property. Lobby was recently updated and is beautiful (even though it was fine before). My apartment was renovated and all the materials used were high quality. Really love the block and neighborhood too. Lots of Brownstones.
Cons:
It’s in a quiet neighborhood but Madison Avenue can get noisey at times.
Advice to owner:
It would be great when another building gets built on the empty lot next door to block the Madison Avenue noise. Then it will be perfect. Buy the lot and put in a new building.
