DONT RENT before YOU SPEAK TO FELLOW Tenants
Former Tenant
Pros:
My neighbors are friendly and helpful.
Cons:
There is no super. The Building hasn't been swept or mopped for more than a year. Recycles are piled up in the basement Creating a rat problem. Tenant security &safety is compromised due to The owners unwillingness to invest in working doors/locks At the building entrance. In the winter, the radiators do not produce adequate heat. Many of the apartments are in dire need of quality of life repairs that are delayed, or ignored by management.
Advice to owner:
Hire a decent super, clean up the building nd respond to repair request of your tenants.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly and organized neighbors!
Cons:
EVERYTHING! People died here after our fire! 2 children and a mother. AND THEY DONT CARE!! No smoke alarms! No Super! Roof leaking! Elevator off! Aweful smells! Rodenst! Bug infistation. Ask Why I still here? Cuz this is my hood and my home! It wasnt like this before! They want us out! So do yourself a favor and research before you sign a lease.
Advice to owner:
DO your job! Respect peoples work schedule! WE ARE HUMANS! Not just $$$

Hot Mess (Literally in flames)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Tenants are nice and there are a lot of families living here. Many of them have lived here for over a decade.
Cons:
All the walls and floors have holes, everything in the basement will crawl into your apartment. This place recently had a fire(Nov. 2021) that brought all of the pre-existing issues to light. Pests, mold, damaged roof, bad insulation, water damage, poor air quality, etc.
Advice to owner:
Fix your mess. Hire competent people who will take initiative and communicate with the Tenants about every issue (big or small).
