Better Than Average Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here for three years. Things I loved:
-Super lived in building
-We had two really great porters who were super nice and helpful, even once when I lost a package, one of the porters helped find the footage of someone stealing my package in the hallway
-management was generally responsive
-once I had a bedbug scare and management was very, very helpful
Cons:
-I had a lot of problems with heat, especially in the last year I lived here. No matter how many times the super came to “fix” my heat, the issue would resume within a few weeks.
-the front door to the building was frequently broken.
-my apartment was generally quiet. I rarely heard my neighbors within the building. However, the street has a lot of sketchy people yelling at all hours, and the building directly behind us often played music/shot off fireworks.
-While my neighbors were nice to my personally, there were a few weird things that happened - for example, they defaced COVID-19 posters in the building entryway with things like “don’t trust vaccines”
Advice to owner:
The heat REALLY must be fixed. And, you should add a gate to the front stoop so drug dealers can’t sit there at all hours.
