Great location. Not maintained well.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing location. Close to Central Park, many buses, and the 2/3 and B/C trains. Loved my large windows. Great area. You could stumble into a pop-up festival any time in the summer. The super, Carlos, was amazing, but he was working with limited resources from management.
Cons:
Issues with roaches. Mice. The laundry room was gross. Laundry machines didn't always work. The building was not secure. People kept breaking the glass of the front door which made the building accessible to anyone. Heat and hot water weren't always hot enough in the winter. The elevator was out for close to a year when I lived there.
Advice to owner:
Handle the roach and mouse situation. Figure out how to keep the building secure.
