Not the best management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The common areas of the building are kept very clean. The super is great and very responsive. The elevator is a huge plus.
Cons:
Management is not very responsive. Out unit has had a roach issue for over 2 years and the treatments are not fixing the issue. We’ve communicated this and explained this is bigger issue since multiple units are affected. However, management keeps doing treatments that don’t resolve the issue. When management asks to come to our unit, they often give less than 24 hours which makes it difficult to coordinate our work schedule.
Advice to owner:
Need more notice to inspections and coordinate a building wide treatment for roaches issue

SEVERE UNRESOLVED COCKROACH INFESTATION OF ALMOST 2 YEARS
Former Tenant
Pros:
The porter who handles the trash is a sweetheart and the only good thing about this place.
Cons:
UNRESOLVED COCKROACH INFESTATION FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS — FUTURE TENANTS BEWARE! (540 photos of cockroaches from September 2023 - April 2024)

We alerted Pine of the severity of this issue and despite several professional treatments and hundreds of my own home remedies, the cockroaches continued to persist. It got to the point where COCKROACHES WERE FALLING ON ME WHILE IN THE SHOWER, or crawling on my foot while eating dinner or doing the dishes or in between my folded clothes.

I have documented 540 INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS OF INSTANCES OF ROACHES IN THE APT in the span of 6 months (and these are just the ones we see out and about while at home!). Some of these photos are attached below, unfortunately it does not allow me to add more.

Save yourselves the emotional and physical toll on your health and wellbeing - it is absolutely not worth it as clearly they cannot seem to get it under control. We have a collection of photos documenting the cockroaches, documented requests with Pine, and letters from our medical teams’ summarizing the impacts this has had on our mental and physical health.
Advice to owner:
Get the cockroaches under control and stop making empty promises over email but taking no action

Pretty & Good
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looks very nice, elevator is always working, laundry is in a finished basement so it is not creepy, close to subways and Central Park, neighbors are very friendly
Cons:
Very narrow apartments, can hear hallway noise from living room very clearly, fire alarm is super sensitive, management can take awhile to reply to communications

Cute boutique building with elevator and laundry
Former Tenant
Pros:
I never had a problem with the elevator the apartment unit itself was very cute. I lived in a one bedroom on the fifth floor had great natural light.
Cons:
Some neighbors were noisy if they left their windows open in the middle of the building
