This apartment gave me nightmares
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to BC so you can get anywhere
Cons:
From the get-go we had so many issues with this apartment from a cockroach infestation to nearly 7 mice in a month. It turned out it was all coming from our dishwasher but the amount of effort it took to get management to answer and send over pest control was an absolute nightmare. The entire garbage area is overridden with rats, there was always flooding in the hallway - DO NOT move here
Advice to owner:
Shut down

Living here was my worst nightmare!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near Columbia and several restaurants. Quiet building.
Cons:
Massive roach infestations, rats always in the garbage room, several mice in my apartment, and the management was unhelpful and unresponsive. The occasional exterminator came in and refused to properly investigate or solve the many problems with the apartment and building. Had to live elsewhere for months due to the uninhabitable conditions and no rent abatement was granted. Oh also, no laundry in building, frequent package thefts, and gas/electric bills were extremely high. Save yourself and avoid this property.

Big space for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
The space in our apartment was huge. Nice natural light in the living areas (although not in 2 of the bedrooms), close to Central Park, and nice exposed brick.
Cons:
• very low natural light in two of the bedrooms • the garbage area was infested with rats for so long. We were always terrified to throw away our garbage. • some of the other tenants would scream late in the evening. Twice we went down to check on them and they said everything was okay but there was still screaming that could be heard from the fifth floor • the heat was astronomically expensive. Whatever your rent is, tack on 300-400 just for gas. The broker told us each unit had its own boiler and was responsible for heat, but said the price cost would be insignificant. It was definitely not. Even in the coldest months when we barely had it on we paid almost 200.
