Lack of maintenance

Pros:
Very well located. Calm street.
Cons:
Building is not clean. Noisy main entrance door.

Slow repairs, and unwanted guests

Pros:
Always call management directly. Much better than dealing with the super. Always very polite and help as best as they can.
Cons:
Super always thinks we’re exaggerating. We literally smelled a rotting mouse behind our dishwasher, asked him to move it to see if that’s what we were smelling, and suggested it was our cleaning products under the sink. We had an electrical problem, and he suggested he light bulbs were out. Next day we went over the super and called management, turns out it was an electrical problem with the building resulting in people cutting holes in our ceiling.

We had an issue with our fridge, and our super decided to try to test it by squeezing a three prong electric plug into a two prong outlet....

We have also had a terrible mouse problem. They always do the bare minimum and it takes so long to go through the “proper channels” that we finally decided to deal with it ourselves.

Basically as nice as our super is, always go to management or handle it yourself.
