Good building overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like the building staff a lot -friendly, trustworthy, and quick to fix an maintenance issue. The location is perfect (close to 1/2/3 and B/C) with restaurants and grocery stores within a 1-2 block span. The apartment itself is well sound-proofed, spacious (we have families with babies on our floor and have never heard them), and pet-friendly (we've never noticed barking either). The units are nicely updated with modern appliances. There's outdoor space for all (or almost all) apartments. The neighbors here are friendly. No washer/dryer but the shared laundry space is clean and it's not too hard to find an empty unit.
Cons:
My only issue is that we have had repeated run ins with roaches -unclear if this is the entire building or just a few units (making us unlucky). Management does have pest control that regularly comes by and is available to come 1x weekly to apartments which also makes me think the issue is not building-wide.

looks can be deceiving
Former Tenant
Pros:
looks like a decent place, balcony is a plus
Cons:
workers for the building are rude, they have a HUGE roaches nd water bug problem that they don’t ever fix, super is racist and so is the doorman, doesn’t fix anything properly unless you are not the minority group.
Advice to owner:
do better before you get a lawsuit

Great building, amazing community, execrable management
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's a really special place. The maintenance guys and especially Paul the super are awesome. Neighbors are great and it really feels like a community.
Cons:
Amsterdam Ave can get noisy from people blasting music or riding loud motorbikes.
But Rose Associates is terrible. They're crooks who make up their own rules for getting the security deposit back and illegally deduct from it. I've filed suit in small claims court.
Advice to owner:
Give me my money back. The lawyers are coming for you.

Great apartment, unresponsive super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are bright, well renovated. Laundry room is spacious and the staff are super helpful
Cons:
The super is terrible. He’s never available. If something major goes wrong you’ll have to wait for months for him to respond unless you write to management. Doesn’t reply to texts or answer calls. Only way to communicate is to drop a note in his door and he probably won’t respond.
There are also quite a few roaches during the colder months.
