Fine for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
I never really had any issues that I couldn’t fix myself. All of the pros are really just the related to the apartment, not the building. We were on the top floor so lots of stairs, but quiet and lots of light. Good size apt too.
Cons:
Lobby and stairs were never really clean. Would’ve been nice to have compost/food waste disposal separate from trash. Management is extremely difficult to reach (no emails) and are mostly unresponsive. Rent is payable by checks only.
Advice to owner:
Clean the lobby, provide your tenants with emails to reach you at and actually respond to them, make rent payable electronically.

Worst landlord. Total neglect
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location next to central park and whole foods.
Cons:
To start off, when we got the keys to our apartment it was filthy. The landlord had clearly not check on it. There was garbage, mice, and dust abd grim everywhere. We finally got someone to come take a look at apartment and they were also horrified. They could not get a lasy minute cleaning crew so they did help us out with cleaning the apartment until late on the second day we got the apartment.
The boiler was consently breaking down. Every couple of days there was no heat and hot water.
Common spaces are never cleaned and quite dark.
Charged 3 month deposit.
Advice to owner:
He a decent human being and care about the building and tenants.
