Pros:
Quiet, no pests in my apartment (floor 5)
Cons:
Super is unresponsive
Front door of building didn’t lock first 3 months, gets stuck wide open often
Never received key for garbage area, had to leave it on the street
Stairwell is dirty, including things people leave there when they move out
Advice to owner:
Work on responsiveness/ease of communication with super

Pros:
The units are spacious
Cons:
Where to begin. Poorly maintained apartments in an unkept building. Black mold reigns supreme in the summer and there isn’t sufficient heat in the winter (it will never be at the legal limit). The landlord/super do the bare minimum to address issues and sometimes even create new issues while “attempting” to fix other issues. Run. You may be tempted to sign a lease because the units are so large, but think about why you’re getting that much space for such a low price...
Advice to owner:
Do better. Living conditions are ridiculously unsafe and you’re doing harm to your tenants by being so irresponsible.
